Koh Mook was on my list for a long time, but I didn't make it 4 years. This time it took 10 months to finally get there. It's a chill, laid-back island close to the mainland (Trang) and it's also close to Koh Kradan, which has one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen so far. · · · #solotravel #travel #travelphotography #wanderlust #backpacking #instatravel #sunsetsniper #thailandtravel #th...

Is this Thailand’s ACTUAL hidden paradise..? 🏝️ Welcome to Koh Kradan, a tiny, car-free island in Thailand’s Trang province that feels like a real-life postcard. 💙 Unlike the crowded hotspots, Koh Kradan is all about slow island life—snorkeling straight from the shore, swinging in a hammock, and watching unreal sunsets paint the sky. There’s no roads, the only way to get around is along the sho...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Koh Mook and Koh Kradan, highlighting the magical Emerald Cave and the pristine beaches. The islands offer a peaceful, authentic Thai experience away from the crowds, with friendly locals and a relaxed pace of life. However, some note that during the low season, amenities can be limited, and cash is essential due to unreliable ATMs.

"Another beautiful island destroyed. Unchecked "development" full of garbage. You need to watch out for motorbikes constantly on the narrow "streets" because locals are driving them basically everywhere. I've seen people using motorbikes to drop off someone 20 meters away. And of course youngsters driving around just for fun. High speed, blind corner, doesn't matter. Trash is everywhere. Locals burn plastics too, so you can smell the paradise. Same sad story across whole southeast Asia."

"Great island for a quite stay in Thailand without crowds of tourists, reasonable prises and beautiful beaches. The Emerald cave is a must go..."

Daniela T.

"We debated which island to stay on. We were very satisfied with ko muk (koh mook). It was a small island feel, lots of great restaurants, both on the beach and in the village. The tours were a great price form PK Tours, and locally run. The stores leave their doors open all night, and are very trusting and safe.

There are several beaches, in additional to the pier. Very happy we choose to stay here."
