Reviews Summary
Visitors find Koh Klang Island Village to be a charming and authentic escape, offering a unique glimpse into traditional Thai Muslim life. The affordable boat access, delicious local seafood, and serene mangrove landscapes are frequently praised. While not a typical 'paradise' island, its distinct character and proximity to Krabi Town make it a worthwhile visit for those seeking a different kind of island experience.
"Nice and everyone here seem super nice. I take my own motorcycle to the island by boat."

"Take the boat and have the most delicious dishes in Krabi"

"Get here from thara park pier in krabi town. 20 baht per person each way, pretty sure the price is the same for thais - no dual pricing. Can take motorbike on the boat (i guess for an extra charge). The boats run every 5 to 10 minutes from early morning to late evening.
Its not a paradise island that you associate with islands in South thailand, but its something a bit different and since its so close to krabi town you only need a spare couple of hours to visit it. Since its a muslim island there are lots of animals around that you dont normally see e.g. goats, turkeys and a pet rabbit or two.
The beach at the bottom of the island is average. Good views all the way over to koh jum. I jogged from the pier to the beach and back, about 5-7km each way depending where you cut across from the road to the beach. Would be perfect for cycling if your hotel in krabi town had bicycles for rent, because its very flat.
I think a lot of thais come to this island for the seafood restaurants in the north of the island.
No dogs pigs alcohol or skimpy dress allowed."
