Reviews Summary

Jek Pui Curry is celebrated for its incredibly affordable and authentic Thai curry rice, offering a true taste of Bangkok's street food culture. While the dining setup is basic with plastic stools, the rich, flavorful curries and vibrant Chinatown atmosphere make it a memorable experience. Some visitors note that the curry can sometimes be lukewarm, and variety might be limited if arriving late.

"One of the best curry rice in Chinatown. They set up fair price not only for locals but also foreigners. One choice of curry with rice is about 45 baht. The curries are obviously Chinese-Thai style with coconut milk as the base. It has spicy, fragrant and rich taste. The place may be located in alleyway but it has became a local legends in culinary world"

"Not sure if I was too late for this. Wanted to come here for an earlier meal but only arrived around 7 and it was almost close to closing time.
Was a bit worried it might be sold out but thankfully there was still curry available.
Also not sure if I should be early because there only seemed to be 1 kind of curry left so there wasn't any option I could just order 1 plate and they tried to give me whatever that was left.
Dining area is pretty unique cause you sit under the sheltered area and there are no tables, just plastic chairs scattered and you just have to find an empty one to sit and dine.
Quite a different experience but I have to say the curry was a little lukewarm but it still tasted pretty good. I wasn't sure what was it but tasted like pork curry though I was hoping to eat some seafood curry or sort before I came here.
Simple no fuss dining but the curry was flavourful and will definitely make a return visit. Hope to see more variety available next time for selection.
Maybe was close to closing time, not many people but still a fair mix of local and tourists. The tourists were all brought over by tour guides and came in groups of about 10 people. Saw 2 groups here but seats are definitely ample."

"I'm not really a fan of curry-based food, but I was curious about how popular this place was.
Came here and was amazed to see the long, snaking queue. Mostly tourist. Plastic chairs for dining-in are scattered in several corners.
I liked the way all female owners serve me back then, how soft spoken of them, but I was sick about the old male owner, impatient, arrogant and bad attitude, made all my appetites vanished away.
Their yellow curry pork itself, THB 55 as per Jul'25, is not bad, paired with some sweet Chinese saugages, good enough to go for dinner.
But yeah, there won't be a second time, absolutely."
