"The Intercontinental in Bangkok Sukhumvit exceeded every expectation. I cannot emphasise enough how good this hotel was, it is the best one me and my partner have ever been too.

The facilities were 10/10, the room was so well formatted and had a great amount of space. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was exceptional, my girlfriend has taken a photo of the bathroom as she acc wants to replicate it when we get our house. We were on floor 24 facing the city centre so you can imagine our view.

The gym was brilliant and so was the swimming pool that over looked the city on the 32nd floor, it was out of this world.

We didn’t have a single bad encounter at this hotel, throughout our stay on entry and leaving, there would be someone opening the doors at all times. To add to that, on entry all colleagues came to a distance taking our heavy bags off us straight away, check in was very smooth and the receptionists were so friendly and nice, we had a 10 min delay on check in but were gifted 2 complimentary drinks which was very kind and thoughtful. As said, every member of staff showed amazing customer service and it felt so nice and positive speaking to them. One member of staff called Banky was brilliant at his job, always showing top customer service, being friendly, helpful and an all round great person.

We are very sad to be leaving after spending a few nights here but when we are back in Bangkok in a few months we will be staying again, that’s for sure. We have recommended this to a couple we are friends with who will be coming in a few weeks.

"We have been long standing intercontinental ambassadors members. Have stayed and experienced their club lounge in numerous countries globally. Have always rated intercontinental top notch in terms of service, the facilities, the room, food and restaurants. Experience has always been bar none. Until we stayed here… we should have stayed at the Intercontinental Bangkok instead.

Something is amiss. Starting from the breakfast on their 4th floor. The food ( ie bacon, hash browns etc) is cold. There are no functioning warmers for the food! I thought it would be different at the club lounge, so we went up. And true enough it was - good news is - at least you didn’t need to order breakfast with a QR code in the restaurant. But even at the club lounge, what is normally hot food is sitting out in the cold. ( doesn’t help that the AC is running at full blast!) at the lounge, tea and canapés session is normally presented and served beautifully in the tiered servings but not here! Here it is self serve like a buffet! This is most certainly not the normal intercontinental experience .. no different from an airport Lounge experience. Very disappointing. Furthermore, we ordered room service, Chiangmai curry noodle and penne pasta. It arrived at our room barely warm! What’s up with this place - why is everything cold!

My experience here is turning us off from the intercontinental. Reason why we repeatedly stayed at intercontinental was coz the experience is consistently good until now."

"I accidentally booked a room with twin beds, and when I mentioned it at check-in, the staff member Boat immediately took care of it and arranged a new room for us without any hassle. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and always greets you with a warm smile. You truly feel at home and completely comfortable.

Boat also gave us great tips for activities and even arranged a taxi to the airport for us. After checkout, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until it was time to head to our flight, which was extremely convenient.

I will definitely come back! :)"
