"A five star experience in Bangkok! Situated in a quiet alley, just two minutes away from the bustling street. We chanced upon this during the weekend getaway. We walked in just after lunch to check the place out, got a tour, a good look at the menu, and booked a table for dinner.
Waiter is attentive without being too intrusive, and speaks good English. Food was well-presented. The beef cut and doneness was just right. Lasagne had a melt-in-your-mouth without being too gooey (oh, and a nice table-side presentation!). Big surprise was the dessert - crème brûlée in lemon!
Nice rare Craft beer too!
Don’t even worry about the $ you’re gonna spend there, cos the food and ambience is well worth it.
Would definitely be back there again when we visit Bangkok.
FYI - there are two dining halls on the premises. Ask the waiter for the alternative seat when the restaurant is too crowded. Otherwise, make a reservation and secure your spot!"

We had a very enjoyable meal at Franca. The highlight was definitely the aged steak, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The lamb rack was also excellent and well-prepared. I also liked their freshly made bread.
The truffle pasta, however, was just okay; it was fine, but nothing particularly memorable or exceptional to "write home about."
My only other minor critique would be that the wine selection felt a little limited for a restaurant of this caliber.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with some truly excellent dishes. We would certainly return!"

The staff felt a bit less informative and not as engaging as expected, and their constant presence around the tables made the atmosphere feel slightly less private. With a touch more warmth and attentiveness, this spot could easily become a five-star dining experience.
