Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Bangkok Coin Museum as one of the best in Bangkok, highlighting its organization, educational value, and interactive exhibits. The affordable guided tour and unique souvenir passport are frequently mentioned positives, though some note that certain video content is only in Thai. Reddit

"Visited in June 2025. One of the best museums in Bangkok. Relatively new, well organized, educative, has interactive panels and a walk through coin eras via 4D session (in Thai). The staff are great too. The entire session is led by a guide who explains each room in English. The guided tour is must (THB 50) and without it cannot access the real rooms of the museum. It takes around 1-1.5 hours for the guided tour and you can just stop and checkout the displays while the guide will wait. It takes 2 hours or more to check all the rooms in all 3 floors. There is also a shop where you can buy real coins as souvenir. Lots of parking spaces."

"I was passing by so many times and didn't think that this museum is so amazing. I am not really into museums but entrance is free, if you want a tour guide it is 50 bht only, it is not just about Thailand but also about its history, they have some rooms with old furniture, tv's, radios and photos. It took us 2 hours to run around all 3 floors. They have two rooms with video ( in Thai only but their girl translated most of the time). I think it can be used as an educational part if you want to know something about Thailand."
