What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bang Sue Junction is a beloved vintage mall offering a vast array of secondhand treasures, from fashion to furniture. Visitors rave about the unique finds and the thrill of the hunt, though some note that prices can be higher for collectible items and advise caution regarding counterfeit goods. The market's retro vibe and proximity to Chatuchak make it a popular destination for bargain hunters and retro enthusiasts.
"Sure online shopping is easy, fast, and convenient but it isn’t as much fun as shopping at this vintage mall paradise.
Across four or five floors, thrifters can fully flex their thrift muscles whether they’re after vintage t shirts, jeans, boots, trainers, cameras, records, toys, film posters, old signs, neons, jewelry, figurines, jackets, trinkets, streetwear, football shirts, bags, and more.
You can also bargain with vendors and there is a cool cafe on the 3rd or 4th floor to refresh and refuel.
If you don’t like crowds best to visit in the week rather than weekend. And the easiest way to get there is by subway - Kamphaeng Phet station - take exit 2, turn left head to the main road, turn left again and the mall is 2 minutes away.
This is truly one of my fave happy places in Bangkok and I hope you will enjoy it too (if you’re a fellow retro lover)."

"Bang Sue Junction is a hidden gem if you’re into vintage furniture and secondhand fashion. The mall has a cool, retro vibe with lots of small shops selling unique home decor, old-school furniture, and stylish pre-loved clothing.
It’s not your typical modern shopping mall, but that’s part of the charm. You can really find some one-of-a-kind items here if you take the time to explore. Prices vary—some great deals, some more collectible pieces—but overall it’s a fun place to browse.
The building is a bit dated, and not all areas have air conditioning, but the variety and uniqueness make it worth a visit if you like vintage finds"

"This is the paradise of antique lovers. We can get many things from old times. Including cameras to ancient CDs too. At the same time, we can get modernized clothes and art toys figures & accessories too."

The Thrill of the Hunt: Thrifting at Bang Sue Junction
Beyond clothing, the market is a goldmine for collectible toys, vintage vinyl records, antique furniture, cameras, and unique home decor. The atmosphere is buzzing, especially on weekends, with shoppers eager to find unique pieces. Navigating Bang Sue Junction: A Shopper's Guide
The mall itself is a sprawling complex, often described as having six floors, each offering a different selection of goods. While the TikTok videos highlight specific floors for certain items like Coach bags (often on the 4th floor), the best approach is to explore systematically. Some areas are air-conditioned, offering a respite from Bangkok's heat, but not all sections are fully cooled, so be prepared.
Practicalities: Bring ample cash as many vendors do not accept cards. While there are ATMs, having smaller denominations will facilitate easier transactions and bargaining. A cafe on the 3rd or 4th floor provides a welcome spot to rest and rehydrate. Remember that while many items are genuine vintage finds, some reviews caution about the prevalence of counterfeit designer goods on upper levels, so inspect items carefully.
