Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Wat Pa Ban Tat for its beautiful architecture, serene atmosphere, and educational museum. The cleanliness and attention to detail are frequently highlighted, making it a peaceful and enriching experience. Some note the heat and the need for respectful attire.

"Very good Wat. The museum was a highlight. The building are amazing, the attention to details is fantastic. Something I really like. If choosing between places to go and you like to be educated a little then this might be the place for you"

Stephen Doggett

"This is a temple that everyone will be happy to visit as it is spread over a large area. Everything here is nice, clean and tidy, which is certainly not a given.

At the entrance there is a museum, and it is possible to borrow umbrellas for use during the tour if you feel like it. To visit the place, you have to take the starting point in the parking lot, as there is no access from the other side. The parking space is huge, and should accommodate everyone who may come to visit."

John F. Stieglitz

"A beautiful Temple on a beautiful site surrounded by a moat. I hadn't realised that there is also a large museum on the same site but it's closed on Mondays. There are big car parks on either side of the Temple site so I expect this place is very popular during Buddhist celebrations/festivals. Do also visit the opened sided assembly hall seperate to the island next to the main car park. There is the structure for many stalls along one side of the car park but it was very quiet today, not many visitors. Temple is free to visit, just sign your name and where you're from. Shoes must be taken off and put on racks at the entrance to the site."
