What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pattaya Floating Market offers a colorful glimpse into Thai culture with traditional crafts and street food, though some find it a bit commercialized. Visitors appreciate the unique atmosphere, the refreshing coconut water, and the opportunity for souvenir shopping. However, some reviews mention higher prices and varying cleanliness standards.
"Pattaya Floating Market is a popular tourist spot, but overall, it’s an mixed experience. The entrance fee is on the higher side compared to what it offers. While the concept of a traditional floating market sounds exciting, the actual arrangement and environment are not as impressive or authentic as expected. The beauty and charm that one might hope for are somewhat lacking. It’s more of a place to check off from a list rather than one to truly enjoy. Worth a short visit if you’re nearby, but not something to go out of your way for."

"Pattaya Floating Market was a lucky find after our disappointing experience in the city—we almost lost hope in finding something worthwhile, but this tourist attraction was alright.
It’s not far from Jomtien Beach and very close to the Tiger Park. I forgot the ticket price but it was reasonable. The market is fully walkable, so there’s no real need for the paid boat ride unless you’re really into it. There are souvenir stalls, crocodile skewer vendors, and plenty of snack and beverage stands. We tried some cakes, which were a hit-and-miss, but the freshly prepared coconut water was an absolute hit—so refreshing and delicious unlike anything I have tried in Thailand.
Overall, a pleasant experience, and we even picked up some fashion items and souvenirs here."

"We visited this place as a part of our city tour package. The place is not very clean. They offered lunch in the package as well but we did not take the lunch there as the place did not look very clean. But the place is a great place to get the cultural exposure to the Thai culture and you can do some shopping here as well"
