Our last 3 nights at here . This hotel in 1873 the Chuini Palace was built for Sayyid Barghash bin Said Al-Busaid, The Zanzibar Sultan from 1870 -1888. The Monument consists of ruins that spread on either side of the bay. Both sides of the palace were once connected by a bridge over the bay. For Reasons that are not yet known most of the building was burnt down in 1914 leaving what is know today ...
