Their ethos is about supporting Masai artisans and their communities by creating products to sell, keeping the tradition of beading alive, as well as providing a number of educational programs. Designs are contemporary and definitely something that you would wear back home - not your usual tourist souvenir. I bought some beautiful pieces for myself and for gifts.
The staff are extremely friendly, will look after you well and spend decent time with you to explain everything. It is the perfect stop for before or after a safari and is definitively worth adding to your itinerary. They can also offer beading classes if you book in advance."
