What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Taipei 101 Mall is widely praised as a stunning landmark with impressive architecture and a high-quality shopping experience. Visitors rave about the panoramic city views from the observatory and the diverse dining options, from upscale restaurants to a vibrant food court. While some find the observatory crowded, the mall itself is considered well-maintained, clean, and easy to navigate, offering a great mix of luxury brands and souvenir opportunities.
"This mall is definitely one of the most popular spots in the area, with plenty of luxury brands inside. However, even if you’re traveling on a budget, it’s still worth visiting. You can stop by the food court for lunch — the food quality is great, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are just right.
The building itself is beautiful and really tall, making it a perfect place for photos or a quick check-in. And if you have time, I recommend going up to the observatory to enjoy a stunning view of the city from above."

"I heard it's a landmark in Taiwan, but it wasn't as large as I expected. There aren't many brands available either. If you search for brands you want, like Bellavita, you won't make a wasted trip.
When I visited, they were having a Van Cleef pop-up event, and it was very impressive.
As with all department stores, the underground food court is the busiest. In particular, Din Tai Fung is always on a wait list, so I recommend going to another branch.
Because we approved a duplex store to a luxury brand, the store size was large, but there weren't many products. If you're staying at the Hyatt, it's connected by the skywalk, so it's worth a visit."

"Taipei 101 is more than just a tall building. It is a perfect blend of:
· Cultural Symbolism (pagoda design, lucky number 8)
· Cutting-Edge Engineering (the damper, earthquake resistance)
· Tourist Attraction (observatories, shopping)
· Environmental Consciousness (green building features).
Weather was bad so I didnt go to the observatory desk, may be visited next time."
