What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou for its vast selection of brands, particularly Japanese ones, and its family-friendly amenities like KidZania and a cinema. The spacious design and diverse dining options are also highlighted as positives. However, some shoppers find the prices not as competitive as expected for an outlet, and the journey from Taipei can be lengthy with a significant walk from the MRT station.
"This place is a God sent for the locals but I would not come this far just to see it. You can really feel the Taiwanese’s obsession with anything Japanese in this outlet, the dining options alone I’d guess to be about 60-70% Japanese. I’m not familiar with the history of this building but one way to tell how well a building is put together is to inspect the toilets, and from what I saw the building appears to be a rushed job. Cost a whopping $75 to get here from Taipei station on the airport MRT!"

"The mall is designed with a spacious and comfortable layout, creating a relaxed shopping atmosphere.
There are also various dining options available, ranging from casual eateries to more upscale restaurants.
Beyond shopping, the outlet park offers entertainment options such as a cinema and a children's play area, making it a family-friendly destination."
Nina Liu
"Huge, well maintained outlet mall near Taoyuen Airport, and 9 stations away from Taipei city which took 40+minutes and almost 25 minutes open air walk from Linkou station to the mall, if follow MRT instruction. If walking by another entrance no 1 will save half time. Anyway the mall is if for outlet shoppers will be very disappointed, non competitive price with brands, will be better for feast fans with lots of carpark."
