This is one Michelin recommended restaurant you have to try and all for less than 300$NT so you know CP值很高! 😆 We recently made a trip to Wanhua to try Yi Jia Zi, a shop specializing in Tainan style braised pork belly. And honestly, I don’t know if its cause we were hungry or what but it was probably one of the best meals we had in Taiwan. But try it for yourself and let us know what you think! #ta...

It's seen as a peaceful escape with beautiful architecture and informative exhibits, though some note it can be less crowded than other Tainan attractions. The blend of Chinese and Japanese influences is a recurring highlight. Reddit

"This is a vast and serene shrine set in a beautiful Chinese park with Japanese touches in the ponds and arched bridges, boasting of a huge courtyard in the center of the enclosed structures located right next to the Tainan City museum.

The shrine to Koxinga is well maintained and organized with the history depicted in multi lingual posters.

With the park, this is a beautiful place to spend an hour or 2 to commune with nature while having a chance to immerse oneself in part of Tainan history. Mature bamboos and leafy trees, water fountains and quiet ponds with aesthetically pleasing bridges."

"Surprisingly, not many visitors at this shrine in memory of 鄭成功. Nevertheless, saw a coach of Japanese tourists led by a guide explaining the history. He’s the only Chinese which the Imperial Japanese government approved to build a shrine for, and he’s probably still being respected by some older Japanese people."

Ethan Ong Wee Tiong

"I enjoyed this shrine that is located in a nice city park that also houses the Tainan City Museum. Admission’s free and you can enter the shrine from different directions from the park. I find the shrine peaceful and I enjoyed looking at the shadows of trees casted on the red walls of the museum."
