"A good historical place to visit and very interesting since it captured the influence of the Dutch in the past. While I could understand Chinese, it was helpful to have English explanations too. Place can be a little hot during summer and parking can be hard to find around the area. Seems like the gate is not properly located on Google maps as well so we ended up having go around before finding it."

Sean Ling

"Historical place which gives a peek into Dutch colonial history in Taiwan. It is a nice place to hangout. Recommend taking the free walking tour around the town including the fort. There are some stairs and it might not be wheelchair friendly."
