What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Kapuz Canyon's stunningly clear turquoise waters and natural beauty, calling it a hidden paradise perfect for swimming and hiking. Some note that the entrance fee might not cover the best parts and recommend checking drone regulations with local police.
"Utterly beautiful natural surroundings that have been utterly devastated through human negligence. I am dejected by the amount of trash and waste left to rot in the sun and degrade into water that was once likely purer than God herself. How you could live here and treat your own land this way? Visitors be warned, the trash only gets worse the farther upstream one goes, and the smell follows in kind. These people do not deserve the nature they’ve been lucky enough to grow up around."

"Such a lovely place. The way to get there is a little tricky for older people but i love crossing rivers by jumping rocks so it was a welcome suprise. The journey there takes you through very obscure roads but its worth it. We were there by ourselves and it was a fun experience. There is a pathway further into the water and theres more rocks to jump on if you want to. The water is crystal clear and really still on most days."

"The place is beautiful but there is rubbish in the stream during the approach. I wish the local authorities would do something about that. The main damned off pool seemed clear on the first glance during diving. Decent water depth ~8m in places, with a lot of fish, so a pretty cool spot for snorkeling or shallow freediving. Time your visit right to get sun in the canyon, especially if you want to swim. It's a river so the water is currently 18C in late October. We showed up on late afternoon and tye sun was already behind the canyon's wall."
