What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Kurşunlu Monastery to be a historically significant site with breathtaking panoramic views, despite its largely ruined state and challenging access roads. The natural springs and peaceful atmosphere are highlights, though the poor road conditions and lack of modern amenities are noted drawbacks.
"Very historical but totally out of interest. Most probably for years it's naturally standing without any renovation or reinforce. The road is very poor and takes around half an hour from city center. Despite all these negative points it's worth to see. Details available in photos"

"Lovely place, don’t be afraid to go with your normal car you have to drive from Davutlar village and follow the signs. It’s very easy to drive to the top average speed is 15-20km/h. Be careful as there is a lot of safari cars driving there soo be careful on the sharp turns. To get to the ruins of the castle, you have to walk on the path in the forest going down from the 3 water taps. Otherwise the path from the “car park” might be a little bit steep and harder to get in to the castle."

"It's just ruins, high in the mountains. The way up is very winding and by the edge of the cliff. But from there you can see the whole city below. We went up with a Jeep safari orange team, and those people know how to drive these roads!! I couldn't sometimes even look down 🫣
Great fun!"
