"Located in the Şuhut district of Afyonkarahisar, the Great Offensive Headquarters—also known as the Atatürk House—is not just a museum; it also symbolizes a historical stance. This modest structure was the headquarters where Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made his final preparations before the Great Offensive on the night of August 25, 1922. Open to visitors today, this house transports you back in time with its rooms, documents, and belongings that witnessed one of the greatest victories of our Republic.

Atatürk's bedroom, meeting table, and original furnishings reflecting the conditions of the period are truly impressive. One of the most striking features is the visual experience area, created with digital hologram technology. Holographic displays allow you to pose with Atatürk, allowing you to capture an unforgettable moment. This is a truly unique opportunity for photography enthusiasts!

The garden is simple and peaceful. Even just sitting among the colorful flowers is a blessing, especially in the summer months. The museum staff are both knowledgeable and attentive; they don't just show you a place; they bring history to life.

If you ever find yourself in Afyonkarahisar, be sure to visit this special house in Şuhut. More than just a museum, it's a place that pays homage to the past, struggle, and the silent witness of victory."

"The Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk arrived in Şuhut from his headquarters in Akşehir on the evening of Thursday, August 24, 1922. The houses where the pashas and their entourage would stay were selected and meticulously prepared by 1st Army Commander Nurettin Pasha and Oynağanlızade Osman Ağa, who arrived in Şuhut on August 23, 1922. The Hacı Veli Mansion, located at the intersection of Eğri Street and Çeşme Street in the Yalı neighborhood where Mustafa Kemal Pasha stayed, also served as a temporary headquarters. Along with Atatürk, the mansion housed Chief Aide-de-Camp Salih Bozok, Second Aide-de-Camp Muzaffer Kılıç, Escort Officer Captain Mahmut Soydan, and Admir Sergeant Ali Metin.
After many years of neglect and on the verge of collapse, the building was restored to its current state in the 2000s with great effort and dedication. Thanks to everyone involved. This is a beautiful historical structure that every Turkish citizen should visit."

"Seeing the old photos, the restoration has been successful. The mannequins could be more realistic. Assistance could be sought from the Eskişehir Wax Museum. The display of the artifacts is quite appropriate. A wax statue of Atatürk could be placed there. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful."
