What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Akdağ Nature Park for its exceptional natural beauty, including its streams, plateaus, and the stunning Tokalı Canyon. The opportunity to see wildlife like wild horses and deer is a significant draw. However, concerns exist regarding the park's protection and the condition of its roads, with a strong desire to prevent overdevelopment.
"It's a place where you can find exceptionally natural areas, including streams, plateaus, Tokalı Canyon, and other places where you can camp and hike. It survived a major fire in 1978. Thanks to drunkards, it's now in danger again, and I suspect it's not being adequately protected. Our only request to visitors is that they return any bags, bottles, etc. they bring to their cars and dispose of them in trash cans along the way.
Hopefully, the roads won't be repaired and the city won't fall victim to the capitalist system."

"This is a beautiful national park with its magnificent natural beauty, forests, ponds, canyons, tree houses, and wildlife. It's 35 km from Çivril city center. The road is poor, but access is easy via Işıklı Osman village and the Sorgun road. The national park, which is protected by a reserve for wild horses and deer, is a suitable place for camping, canyon hiking, and all kinds of activities. Water, restrooms, a playground, and a market are available. Be sure to take the Tokalı Canyon hike. It's a good idea to bring swimming gear."
