What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Europaallee is praised for its modern urban vibe, diverse shopping, and excellent dining options, especially its cafes and restaurants. Visitors appreciate its convenient location next to Zurich HB and the lively atmosphere created by its terraces and events. However, some find a lack of comfortable seating for casual breaks, particularly on rainy days, and note that it can feel geared towards spending money rather than lingering.
"Absolutely nowhere to sit down or even put your bag. The place is built like you should spend your money and get out. Not very nice if you want to eat your food bought from coop on a rainy day inside. Huge empty area that could have been nicely made for people to enjoy."
Jekaterina Stukane
"Visited this by Tram to this location on the last day in Zurich. Very nice place with many churches and also at the main church has a nice Gelato ice cream. Can walk around this place for many hours and when tired can rest at the many Café and pubs and shopping in the area. Suggest to take public transport there as parking can be challenging depending on when you visit"
Daniel Leong
"People watching with a coffee sitting on the many benches along the sideway was an interesting pasttime. The square is very lively with many terrace cafes."
