Pointe à la Bise Nature Reserve is highly praised for its beautiful lakeside setting, abundant wildlife, and clean facilities. Visitors appreciate the helpful staff and the convenience of free public transport passes for Geneva. Some minor drawbacks include potential mud on lakeside plots and the presence of midges in August, as well as the need for long electric cables.

"Electric points are an issue here as you can be quite some distance depending on your plot number, we have 35 meter cable, and it didn't reach, we had to change plot. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Free bus/boat/tram passes are included in the price and are a great way to navigate the area. Shower blocks/dish wash areas are clean. There is plenty of hot water. We visited in August lots of midges day and night. Also, some sort of wood mill behind the back rows, they start work at 7, be mindful if you like a lie in. paid 106chf for 2 adults 2 nights"

"Yes, yes, yes! Fabulous. We highly recommend it here. We received a warm and helpful welcome on arrival and the team continued to be helpful throughout our stay.
We had a problem connecting to their WiFi and the reception team couldn't have been more helpful. Once we were hooked up to it, it was powerful and didn't fail us.
The location is wonderful. It's right in front of the lake with a wonderful view. Wildlife (particularly birds) is abundant and we fell asleep each night and woke up each morning to the pleasant calls and chirping of birds and frogs (I expect they were frogs). We're in the South of France as I write this but, I'm reminiscing fondly of that beautiful spot.
As well as all this, the site is clean; the toilet and shower facilities are clean and provide soap and toilet paper in plentiful quantities - I'm remembering that fondly too.
A free bus pass allows access throughout Geneva and the bus stop is just a short walk from the campsite.
If we ever go to Geneva again, we'll definitely return here.
We had a slightly more expensive spot in front of the lake, which we would book again, but be warned - it is also the muddiest place if it's been raining heavily which was a bit problematic for us tent campers. I'd still do it again though.
Thankyou for helping to create wonderful memories."

However, potential campers should be aware of a few practical considerations. Electric hook-up points can be quite distant from some plots, so bringing a long cable (35 meters or more) is advisable. Additionally, while lakeside plots offer spectacular views, they can become muddy during periods of heavy rain, which might be a concern for tent campers.
