What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sihlwald Forest and Wildnispark Langenberg are praised for their free access and natural beauty, offering a great escape with opportunities to see native wildlife and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and BBQs. While the animal enclosures are vast and sightings aren't guaranteed, the interactive forest trail is a hit with families. Some visitors find the on-site restaurant pricey and parking fees a drawback.
"Park is ok. We could see bears, wolves and a lynx.
It has multiple playgrounds for the kids. The restaurant only sells fast food and a bit expensive in my opinion (4 nuggets + fries 16.8chf)"
Ramiro Trachsel
"Huge natural park/forest. We started from the Sihlwald train station and we went on the trail to reach the top of the mountain at the observation deck in about 2 hours. Easy trail but quite steep. The park itself is very well maintained. We weren't able to see any wild animal. Every half an hour or so, you can find a fountain."
Nick Reviews
"Excellent park with a wide range of animals to see for free. Nice easy walking around all the enclosures and the forest. Great cafe serving regular fare burgers, flamm Kuchen pizzas, salads, chicken nuggets and potatoes frites, cake and ice cream. Excellent children’s playground. Good grill spots to have your own Bbq. Only negative is the parking costs 10chf even if you only want to drop in for a short time."
