"Beautiful and typical Ticino valley with various excursions"

"This was my first time in the Onsernone Valley. It's much less well-known than the Verzasca Valley. I experienced a landscape unlike anything I've ever seen in Switzerland. A kind of jungle landscape. You hike through beech and birch forests and encounter typical small Ticino villages. If you're looking for peace and quiet and don't need luxury, this is the place for you. I'll be back."
Michael Lüdi
"A very beautiful valley offering numerous hiking trails, so everyone can choose the one that's right for them. Access by car is very winding, narrow, and confusing. Inexperienced drivers can also take the postal bus. However, that shouldn't deter anyone from visiting the expansive valley. Of particular note are the Craveggia baths, which are freely accessible to everyone and fed by a spring with water at approximately 28 degrees Celsius. Remains of the old spa hotel can still be found there. The bathhouse was built at the beginning of the 20th century and reopened to visitors about three years ago."
