A weaving machine in action from the 1800’s Technology is ever changing! I love watching these older machines in action - the foot peddles, the yarns, all of it comes together to create a unique piece of fabric. #talmuseumlauterbrunnen #weavingmachine #weavingfabric #lauterbrunnenmuseum

Visitors consistently praise the Talmuseum for its authentic portrayal of Lauterbrunnen's history and local culture, highlighting the fascinating exhibits on mountaineering and traditional crafts. The helpful staff and the opportunity to see live demonstrations of weaving and lace-making are frequently mentioned positives. "Loved the location. Very awesome local museum. I loved how many historical pieces they had. Loved that there was a person on site making hand woven towels. Beautiful craft! You can also purchase those towels. It had 3 levels. You could check out the picture gallery, actual objects used, irons, shovels, ski shoes, cameras... I loved the history of lace. I never knew how it was made! Definitely worth a visit. I'd say it can take about an hour or maybe a little longer if you like to read."
