Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise St. Pierre Cathedral as a must-see in Geneva, highlighting its impressive architecture, historical significance, and the unparalleled panoramic views from its bell towers. While the main cathedral offers free entry, the climb to the top is a paid experience that many find well worth the effort. Some note the simplicity of the interior compared to ornate Catholic cathedrals, but appreciate its solemn grandeur and unique features like the Maccabees Chapel.

"Impressive cathedral in the old town area with lots of period buildings around it. On a bit of a raised area but an easy walk up. Quiet, peaceful, can sit for as long as one likes. Free to enter, as it should be, but is not in some places. Different parts obviously built/added/repaired/rebuilt at different times, which is always interesting. Well worth a visit."

"Definitely worth a visit to this cathedral if you're in Geneva - absolutely beautiful cathedral with an organ unlike anything I've seen before. Lots of beautiful architecture and artifacts to see - if you are a fan of cathedrals this is a must-see if you are in Geneva!"

Peter Cummings

"This cathedral is a highlight located in the center of Geneva's old town. The top offers a great view over the city and the lake. I recommend combining a visit with a walk to the beautiful nearby square "Place-Du-Bourg-de-Four" (my favourite place in old town). Take a break there for a snack and a drink. Enjoy!"
