Trains come at 10 before the hour and 5 after, the first ones going up the line, the second coming down.
Around winter time, I'd suggest to come at about 5:50PM, allowing for pictures of the train coming down, and long exposure photography at 6:30PM, about when the sky light is almost gone. Then take the train back down at 7:05PM. Those time frames may not work in other seasons than winter though."
