What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Skansen is widely praised as a must-visit for its unique blend of Swedish history, culture, and wildlife. Visitors appreciate the immersive experience of exploring authentic historical buildings and seeing native Nordic animals. It's particularly recommended for families and those interested in cultural heritage, though some find it a bit pricey and suggest planning a full day to fully appreciate its vastness.
"A large open museum with an aquarium plus large areas of places with different animals inhabited. Exhibits are interesting and it shows the old village life of Sweden. There are different events hosting there throughout the year but visiting there in Summer is better than in Winter, as some animals like the bears would be hiding and hibernating. You can easily spend a whole day there so it's better to plan your day in advance before going there."

"Huge area in Stockholm where you can, easily spend a whole day walking. If you're lucky you'll be able to see all the wild animals in their enclosures. Some of them however is a bit shy."
