"We walked the route from Engesberg at the same level as the campsite to Bönans cafe and back. It took about 1 1/2 hours at a slow pace. The route was marked in yellow and easy to follow except at the beginning when we got lost on a quayside. Quiet walk on asphalt and gravel road past nice houses near the sea and some viewpoints. These are clearly marked with signs. Many nice flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Goldenrod, Mountain Cliff and Hops bloomed along the way. Two cute goats also looked back at us from a pasture. I recommend the route if you want a shorter, easily accessible walk. Feel free to finish with something good at Bönans cafe before you go back."

"Ran this so-called coastal trail on April 25th with my wife, we were disappointed. It was poorly marked where the trail went in parts, a lot of asphalt even though it said mostly gravel road. Last but not least what we appreciated the most was the length of the route, we started in Utvalnäs and stopped in Gävle where we live so it was just over 24 km."
