"Even though the place is long gone and only one gate stands witness from what was once an amazing fortification, it is a peaceful place to visit and enjoy the quietness of Norrköping. The history of this place is magnificent so not to spoil someone's exploration if you're a history buff and want to learn something that would impress the Swedish, come here, take some photos and try to learn something more about this alluring place. Overall, definitely recommending it to everyone that wants to take a closer peak at some historic remnants."

"Don’t go here, almost nothing to see. This place has an important and interesting history but it is not taken care of. The only thing left is the renovated (1934) gate house and that is behind an electric fence... so you cannot access it... behind the fence there is also an info sign. If you bypass the fence you will see that the sign is burned and unreadable..."

Unfortunately the gatehouse and its information sign are both located inside a pen with no apparent entrance (the building can still be viewed from outside, though). Additionally, the sign seems to have been burnt at some point and is this near illegible."
