"The place is nice and cozy, the Xmas market is ok, but the one in Sigtuna is obviously bigger. Prices here are the same as one can find on Stockholm Xmas market or Gavle Xmas market, but you have plenty options for digustation. What I didn't understand, is why one have to pay 80 sek to go in? You pay entrance fee and then you continue to pay for the rest. Wanna glogg? Pay. Wanna see the castle? Pay. Wanna ride ponny? Pay. If you don't pay for the rest, there is nothing to do. So for what do you pay 80 sek in the beginning? For digustation? Too much I'd say."

"Ekenäs Castle makes an impression that lasts! Great place and the tours of the castle are amazing! I went to a private gathering in the church hall - what a mesmerizing place. It has all the things you look for in an old enchanted building like this. Hidden passages, ghosts(!) - the works! This is a must visit if you're in those parts of Sweden. They also have a midieval festival in the early days of summer that is pure fun. Ekenäs Castle is simply put lovely."

A lot of the things displayed are not actually from the original castle, nor are they from the correct time period. Many if the rooms were switched around for touring and are also not original.
