"This deserve six stars! The staff is super friendly, and the rooms are in perfect condition. When you look outside of the window, you can see the beautiful Himalaya and the capital city of the Ladakh, Leh, is not far away. The house is an ancient building, though it does not seem like it. Everything is so well-maintained and there is art everywhere. The food that we ate was delicious and balanced."

"For anybody who loves art and heritage, the historic Stok Palace makes for a great stay. The beautifully restored palace has a lot to offer; rooms with stories, well preserved artefacts, and thoughtfully prepared food. While it has an independent museum with the most stunning thangka collection, your entire stay feels like living in a museum! Thank you for the hospitality and keep up the good work."

"My mum and I stayed here for 2 nights in one of the heritage rooms overlooking Leh. It was stunning ornately painted and very comfortable bed and bathroom. The doors are small as it is over 200 years old, so watch your head! I was surprised to have good wifi in the room, the service and hospitality of all the staff was incredible. We were given a private tour of the museum and palace. The ladakhi meal on the first night was very tasty and beautifully presented and the second night we had an Indian meal in the royal dining room. It’s truly amazing to stay in a palace that still has their royal family living here too. Thank you for an unforgettable experience."
