We took long chairs for 2000lkr for 2. Guys are friendly. If they don't have what you would like to drink, just ask kindly they will grab you what you need.

"Great lagoon protected from the waves breaking further out. See locals pole fishing and beach fishing. All the dogs we saw were friendly and happy. Small local restaurants dotted along the beachfront with some surprisingly good food. A pair of binoculars is a must have if you want a more detailed view of the hundreds of small, brightly coloured fishing boats a kilometre or so offshore. Hundreds of pretty shells on the beach. The whole area is gorgeous with friendly locals."
