"We were of two minds about visiting Galle as we wondered if it might be a tourist trap but we decided to go and we are so glad we did. It is a tourist attraction but when we went at least it wasn’t that busy and it felt real. It is an amazing little place, lots of locals there and kids flying their kites which is pretty cool to see a Sri Lankan tradition in practice. It has a lot of trees and green spaces little cobbled streets, monkeys and other wildlife and of course the big Dutch built fort which is the main focal point. Recommend visit"
