The lake has a rich natural habitats of various types birds and water creatures. Crocodiles are also part of the lake, the main park is protected with a fence surrounding the lake. It is safe for anyone who pay good attention to surrounding. Car parking available at main entrance and second car park available at the second entrance from Raththanapitiya side.
