"Excellent, quiet night's stay in 15th century moorish citadel converted into a luxury Hotel from popular Parador chaín. I've stayed over the years (30 years now) at a few Paradors and this one well represents what they stand for. Quiet, historic, spatious and superbly located in the heart of the Old Town. My bedroom was fantastic and the bathroom too was nice and large with good shower. The layout was great. The bed was comfy and sleep was good.
All of the Hotel teams in Reception provided a thoroughly professional service for me in both English and Spanish, as I speak it fluently. We also were helped to watch the TV in a social room and were looked after by the bar team who served as excellent Zamoran cheese and cured Leon beef.
It was easy to park outside to drop off luggage. I also parked next to the Library nearby and for an overnight stay it cost me only 4€. Overall a great experience even off season and it's more value for money in mid February. I hope I can revisit in the future."
