Visitors praise the Museum of Fine Arts Casa de l'Ensenyança for its pleasant atmosphere, interesting art collection, and especially its free entry when combined with a Xativa Castle ticket. The air-conditioned galleries are a welcome feature on hot days, making it an enjoyable and comfortable place to spend about an hour. Some found modern works a bit strange, but overall, it's considered a worthwhile stop.
"We visited this Art museum last weekend on our Xativa weekend and it was fabulous! The lady at the entrance was so welcoming and informative and soon we were strolling through the galleries soaking in the art. Two more great things about this gallery are that the entrance is free if you have tickets to the castle, it’s included (and also entrance to the Archeological museum) and secondly, on a hot day, the museum is air conditioned which is a beautiful thing! We really enjoyed the art and spent an hour cooling off which was also much appreciated!"

"A pleasant stop here after the castle: we got in for free, as castle ticket holders. I was looking for Ribera's works, but there was not any here at his birth town. The upside-down Felipe V portrait was taken out for restoration. Great to see other pieces though. The modern works showing raw meat were a bit strange."

"Spain has a neverending supply of art and artefacts of various eras, which enables even small provincial museums to have enjoyable collections. You probably won't find these artists in canonical anthologies but this does not make their works less interesting. An ample exposition of copper prints provided a nice surprise. Time well spent."
