What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
PortAventura Park is praised for its thrilling rides and beautiful theming, with many calling it one of Europe's best theme parks. However, visitors frequently mention long wait times and the high cost of food and drinks as significant drawbacks. Despite these issues, the park offers a fantastic experience for families and thrill-seekers alike, especially when planning ahead.
"Too much waiting time. Why sell more tickets than there is space available for attractions? The reason is money — visitors’ comfort clearly isn’t the priority. Many queues are not shaded, and waiting under the sun quickly turns into a nightmare. On the positive side, the toilets are well-organized and clean. The shops, however, could be more reasonably priced given the high entrance fee. Overall, the park is beautiful and generally well-maintained."
Alexander Mukhranov
"This was a fantastic experience. There was lost of fantastic rides and areas to visit. Would suggest the 10 ticket fast pass for those on their first visit as the more popular rides can be a bit of a wait. However, there are plenty of rides for the family and not too long a queue. For them. The kids area "Seseme Street" was amazing for all not just the younger kids. Can't wait to go again."
Mark Milligan
"We have been to this theme park several times before. It is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year (2025), and it is still good value for money. Some restaurants were closed, but there was enough to cater for the number of visitors. All the staff were friendly and the longest ride queue was 40 minutes. The light show at the end was amazing."
