"Parque de Benicalap is a lovely and unexpected green oasis right in the heart of Valencia. Often overlooked by tourists, it’s a favorite spot for locals looking for a peaceful place to relax, play sports, or enjoy nature.
One of the best surprises at the park is its pool area, which is both fun and affordable. Admission costs only 3 to 4 euros per adult from 12 PM onwards, making it a fantastic option for families and friends to cool off during hot days.
The pool features multiple slides, a water play area with waterfalls and bubbles, and a children’s splash zone. It’s perfect for anyone looking to combine outdoor relaxation with some refreshing water fun.
Beyond the pool, Parque de Benicalap offers plenty of other attractions:
Sports facilities including tennis courts, football and basketball fields.
A relaxing Arab-inspired garden with ornamental fountains and lush vegetation.
A popular children’s playground featuring the iconic “Tarzan’s Cabin.”
A theater-forum space hosting cultural events.
A cozy café-bar to grab refreshments and snacks.

My Final Thoughts:
Parque de Benicalap is a fantastic spot for anyone visiting or living in Valencia who wants a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience. The pool, with its modern facilities and very affordable entrance fee, is definitely a hidden gem. If you’re in Valencia during the warmer months, don’t miss out on this wonderful park!"

"We love the water park here. To ensure we have a shaded spot, we buy the 25€ lawn chairs that have a spot by the snack bar (waiter service) and include a box where you can lock your things up (bring a lock). It’s got shaded umbrellas on that chair too. The kids love the water areas and slides. There are restrooms (bring those flip flops). Good and drinks are reasonably priced. You can bring your own food and drink, just no coolers, glass or cans (plastic only). The fee for kids to get in is less than 2€ and for adults less than 3€. It’s a bargain and a beautiful place to spend a hot day."
