What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are captivated by the unique pink hue and the surreal experience of floating effortlessly in the salty waters. While the color intensity can vary and swimming is officially prohibited, the natural beauty and mineral-rich water are often highlighted as positives. Some find the access a bit rough and wish for better infrastructure.
"This is a shallow lake used for salt extraction. The bottom is covered with a thick layer of salt crystals. You literally float on the water; the water naturally pushes you upward, like an empty bottle of water floats on the surface. It's strange that the water is very warm near the bottom and cool on the surface. As far as I know, it's always the other way around... The water actually has a reddish-pinkish hue. This water is very healthy for the skin; it can heal skin conditions thanks to the many minerals it contains. It's a nice place to take a dip."

"This exact spot is easy to access to the water, and easy to park the car. Most of area is fanced so this is good option."
