"I enjoyed a lovely cheese and wine tasting here. It’s ridiculously good value for money. (You will probably be tempted to but some of the cheese or the lovely jam).

The little manchego museum is quaint. The couple who own the place are very friendly and even let me leave my suitcase here while I toured the city! Highly recommend for all your cheese and wine needs in Toledo!"

T H.

"The museum section is free and is made up of three small rooms that walk you through the cheese-making process and the sheep — short but informative!

We also did the tasting for the Manchego cheeses. It came with two pieces aged 3 months, two aged 6 months, and one aged 1 year. The plate came with crackers, almonds, a pheasant pâté cracker, and black garlic jam. We paired it with a white wine and a rosé. The host was patient and took the time to explain how to approach the tasting. Everything was delicious — our favourite was the 6-month-aged Manchego! I also loved the black garlic jam so much I got a small jar to take home!"
