What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the spectacular panoramic views from Roque Bentayga and the insightful historical information available at the free visitor center. The relatively easy hike and peaceful atmosphere are also frequently highlighted as major positives, making it a highly recommended stop for those exploring Gran Canaria.
"A fairly short hike up the rocky mountain, the visitor center is very nice with lot of history. They did even offer us to play the video of the Bentayga rock in English which was very nice. There is no entrance fees and the center also has restrooms which is a plus. Walk to the top is pretty okay with narrow walkaway and rocky paths, hence have to be careful. The views around the place are amazing and you can see Rock Nublo from there. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Tejeda as its pretty close from there barely a 15mim beautiful drive."

"Absolutely MUST SEE when visiting Gran Canaria 🤩 Plenty of the stunning views into the Barranco de Tejeda, Roque Nublo and the sea on the horizon. Not crowded at all!
There is a small parking available right next to Museum / UNESCO information centre (free entrance) that offers brief insights about the history and first inhabitants. Hiking trail of medium/low difficulty is well kept. I recommend to all 200%"
