"I was there to attend the world padel tour Tarragona which is an international event.
The place is ok, seating are correct, parking is easy and well indicated.
The sound system is a bit bad we rarely understood what the commentator say though his microphone. This really need to be improve
One thing which is clearly missing are lockers (taquillas), for items not allowed inside for security as scooter helmet. The security told us to let them in a corner which was without surveillance and in case of theft they would not be responsible.
This clearly show a lack of preparation from the organization in Tarragona. Lockers are a basic necessity ! I attend many world padel tour around the world and it was the only one where they didn’t have locker.
We travel a lot to come here and we were deny entry as we didn’t want to let our helmet on the ground in a corner without being sure to find them back after the event.
After a lot of speaking with different security I was directed to the head of Security Jonathan, to which I addressed the issue and the missing part of the organizers regarding lockers/taquillas. I was shocked to learn that this is the same for all event organized here in this place in Tarragona. He understood my point of view and I appreciate that he specifically take my helmet to drop him in their office. Thanks to Jonathan to have save my day and allow me and my guests to watch the world padel tour Tarragona.
Other than that, toilets are ok, missing a bit of cleaning.
No foods inside the arena, only drinks, food were outside with 2 food trucks.
So thanks to Jonathan and his team to have find a compromise which should not fall in his responsibilities but more toward the management of this place and event/organizers"
