What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Casa de la Memoria for its authentic and deeply emotional flamenco performances. The intimate venue and talented artists create an unforgettable experience, making it a highly recommended cultural highlight in Seville. Some note that arriving early is key for the best seating.
"This is a must see! Flamenco originated in Seville and there is no better place to see the emotion, talent, energy and spirit of this beautiful art. Arrive early if you’d like front row, but know that the theater is intimate, so every seat provides an opportunity to get the full impact of the performance. The dancers, singers and guitarist were all engrossed in their performances and I took away an unforgettable and authentic experience that truly touched my heart."

"Since Seville is in the birth region of Flemenco, watching a show is a must for me during my visit to the city. After compared reviews of several Flamenco venues, I chose Casa de la Memoria for my very first Flamenco experience, and the place didn’t disappoint.
The performance hall is a relatively tight space with three rows of seating surrounding the stage. This arrangement allows maximum impact from the performance, both visually and acoustically, not mentioning the amount of strong emotion emanating from the stage.
Overall, the show was beyond amazing for a first-timer. The dancers, the singers and the guitarist choreographed seamlessly. Making it hard to believe the performance was completely improvised.
We arrived 15 minutes before the performance time and were lucky enough to get in, although sitting in the back corner, on a Sunday. For those who would like front row seating, the host recommends arriving at least half an hour early to secure the desired seating.
Highly recommended!"

"📍 Casa de la Memoria – Centro Cultural Flamenco | Seville
Located in the heart of Seville’s old town, Casa de la Memoria is a cultural venue dedicated to preserving traditional flamenco. Set in a restored 15th-century noble house, the theater features a charming Andalusian courtyard and offers an intimate setting with no sound amplification — just pure, raw flamenco.
I booked through GetYourGuide for €44 (two people). Note that the ticket doesn’t include fast-track entry — you’ll need to wait in line, but hand fans are handed out, which helps during warm evenings.
The venue is small and cozy, so arrive early to get a good seat. The performance lasted about an hour — perfect for first-timers. The dancers, singer, and guitarist were in perfect harmony, delivering high energy and deep emotion. One of the best flamenco shows for anyone seeking an authentic experience. 💃"
