What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Iglesia de Santo Domingo is praised for its stunning Renaissance architecture and impressive interior, particularly its main altarpiece and religious art. However, multiple visitors report negative experiences with a staff member who can be unwelcoming and rude, impacting the overall visit.
"A beautiful church from the outside... but the old man who usually closes it... always the same one... how unpleasant he is! On several occasions, not once, not twice, not three times... when we've tried to see it, even if only from the outside, after a wedding, they've been told "it's closed." It's not the fact, it's the way... a little bit of pleasure, please. I hope someone passes this on to him... because I'm not the only one who leaves with a bad taste in their mouth. I've heard many people come back saying, "What a nasty guy!" I hope that one day, he won't be there..."

"A must-see church in Jerez de la Frontera, the seating is arranged in an L-shape, with the parishioners seated both in front and to the right of the priest. It's more spectacular inside than out. It's easily accessible from the city center."
