What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
San Juan Beach is widely praised as an undervalued gem, offering a vast, clean expanse of fine sand and clear waters. Visitors appreciate the abundance of amenities, including excellent restaurants and bars along the promenade, and its easy accessibility via tram. While some note ongoing development, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting its beauty and suitability for a relaxing day by the sea.
"Many beaches around the world are overrated. Many are undervalued. This one lays in the second category. This beach is not known as others more famous. The beach is wide, long and with a beautiful white yellowish sand. There are palm trees in it, which make the beach very exotic. The Baywatch houses are colourful and nicely painted, giving it a vintage look. You could rent an hammock. The water is crystal clear to the point that if you do not move, little fishes will tickle your feet fingers. The promenade is directly connected and behind; full of excellent restaurants, Ice cream shops and other cocktail bars. This beach has nothing to envy from other beaches in the world."

"Such a beautiful clean and long beach! About a 30 minute train ride from Alicante. Water was warm, not crowded, some bars and restaurants. Was purely magic."

"It looked really cool. Water is clear, beach kept clean. Not many things available at the moment but it's been developed while I was visiting."
