What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sa Caleta restaurant garners praise for its delicious Ibizan seafood, particularly the paella, and its charming, rustic atmosphere with beautiful sea views, especially at sunset. While some visitors have experienced initial service delays, the overall dining experience is often elevated by the quality of the food and the attentive staff. The closure of the beach itself is a notable drawback for those seeking a traditional beach day.
"The rating should be an overall solid 5! Throughout the years this place has always guaranteed premium experience.
The product is fresh, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is amazing, but what I wanted to point out is the impeccable service at Sa Caleta! From the seating to the explanation of the dishes, to accommodating your requests, to the chef even custom making your meal, all the staff go up and beyond to make the customer happy. I recommend all their dishes and to go a bit before sunset if you want fewer people and better views."

"The setting at Sa Caleta is absolutely charming — nestled by the sea with a warm, rustic atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a lovely meal. However, our experience started off a bit rocky. We had to wait over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or offered to seat us, which was frustrating and didn’t match the otherwise welcoming vibe of the place.
That said, once we were finally seated, everything changed for the better. The paella Sa Caleta was truly delicious — rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and full of fresh ingredients. It’s definitely a dish worth coming for. The sangria was also a highlight: refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect companion to the sunny coastal setting.
Despite the slow start, the food and ambiance made it a memorable experience. With a bit more attention to service, this spot could easily be perfect. Still, highly recommended for the atmosphere and fantastic paella."

"Wonderful restaurant with views of the sea and what I would call the typical beach restaurant. If you want to find a typical casual but yet impressive restaurant by the sea, this is your place. A large menu where speciality is sea food but you can also find food for other tastes, this ibizenco restaurant is a must. With lots of parking and extremely friendly service that is efficient and also fast, you just feel at home and want to stay as much as possible. The terrace has views of the ocean but you can also have very nice views of it from inside. As a surprise we had service also from the owner who explained to us a lot about the roots of the restaurant. The cava sangria was great and they also have a very decent wine list. Do not miss their speciality coffee by the name of caleta coffee, and maybe if you are nice will get a nice ibiza herbs liquor shot on the house. Prices are in line with Ibiza, be careful as plates are plentiful so we had to take some food home so order some first and maybe seconds later. I will definitely come back and recommend it fully."
