Reviews Summary
Mario Water Park offers a fun experience with good food and clean facilities, particularly appealing to families with its kid-friendly areas. However, visitors note that the park's pricing for rentals like floats and loungers can be high, and some slides show signs of wear and tear, impacting the overall enjoyment for the price paid.
"Well, the park is generally clean and the food is good.
The only thing is that there are some details that make you wonder whether to return or not, like the increase in the price of float rentals and the minimal number of free floats they offer (only four per slide), which forces you to rent if you want to try all the slides on a day.
They've set out to make a business out of the floats and don't care whether the customer is satisfied or not; they just line their pockets.
And they forget that their customers are PEOPLE, a considerable number of people (more than 500 attendees daily), so the slides require such ZERO maintenance. They only paint them every few years and that's it. The joints aren't repaired and they cut your back when you go down. Except for the Kamikaze, all the other slides that are used without a float are just too much like breaking your back or butt if you jump in sitting down...
In the end, you've paid for a normal entry fee to a water park that you can't enjoy 100%."

"A good place to spend the day with the water slides for the little ones and the older ones. The only thing I recommend are waterproof shoes for the little ones and for adults since the ground is quite fast and when you walk a lot the sole of your foot is quite scratchy and in the end it hurts!!! The price is quite high since not only do you have to pay entry but you must pay €7 for the hammocks and another €7 for the float rental! You can leave the establishment as much as you want but as long as they give you a stamp to enter again."

"A relatively small but very fun water park for both children and adults. It has restaurants and bars, and you can leave the park with a wristband. In short, a great place to have fun with family and friends."

Navigating the Slides and Attractions
For families with younger children, there are dedicated pools and smaller slides that provide a safe and enjoyable experience. However, the ground surface can get very hot, making waterproof shoes a highly recommended item for both children and adults to prevent discomfort. The park's cleanliness is generally good, and the food receives positive remarks, which contributes to the overall visitor experience despite the noted maintenance details.
When planning your visit, consider that the park aims to be a business, and some operational choices, like float rentals, are geared towards revenue. Understanding these aspects beforehand can help manage expectations and ensure a more enjoyable time. The ability to leave and re-enter with a stamp is a convenient feature for those who might need a break or wish to explore the surrounding area briefly.
Understanding Costs and Rentals
Float rentals are also subject to a deposit, adding another layer to the upfront cost. This focus on rental revenue has led some visitors to feel that the park prioritizes making a profit over customer satisfaction, especially when combined with the noted wear and tear on some of the slides. It's crucial for visitors to budget for these extra costs to fully enjoy the park's offerings.
Despite these rental considerations, the park is still viewed as a good place for a day of fun with family and friends. The ability to leave and re-enter with a stamp provides some flexibility, allowing visitors to manage their time and potentially save on food costs by stepping out to nearby eateries if desired.
