What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
El Alamillo Park is widely praised as a beautiful, expansive green space in Seville, perfect for relaxation and family outings. Visitors appreciate its free admission, pet-friendly nature, and the variety of recreational activities available. However, some reviews mention issues with maintenance and accessibility in certain areas, particularly regarding road conditions and public transport reliability.
"El Alamillo is a great place. Peaceful, with three good Restaurants/Bars close to the beach. All the attractions of the Port of Mazarrón in walking distance."
Amanda Jane Keane
"It's abandoned. Walking through its streets is not at all accessible; the streets and roads are completely patched, the paving stones are raised by tree roots, and the roads are unpainted. You'll be forced to take the car if you have children every day because you won't have a park where your child can play. I say the car because the designated crossing area doesn't have a sidewalk, so you'll have to walk on stones and rocks or on the road, and the one that does have a sidewalk doesn't have a crossing. The streets are dirty and neglected. There's a bus stop where the bus doesn't run, and where the bus does, there's no bus stop. The stop, however, used to be a monument honoring the beach because it was a joke. They wanted to level it right in the middle of the slope, but they went too far, so they left it uphill, and it stayed that way for years.
This year I've been there for two months, and the street sweepers haven't been there a single day."

"The beach is mostly pebbly, there are water activities and a beach bar, it is on the side of the road"
