Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking beauty of the caves and the magical experience of the classical concert on Lake Martel. The unique geological formations are a major draw, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. However, some find the large crowds and the rushed pace of the guided tour detract from the experience, and photography restrictions during the concert are noted.
"We visited the caves today and came away very impressed. It’s definitely a touristy spot that handles thousands of people each day, so don’t expect any special treatment – and be sure to book your time slot online in advance. That said, the caves themselves are fantastic: huge, open caverns with tons of stunning stalactites and stalagmites (Tropfsteine) everywhere. What impressed us most was the classical music concert at Lake Martel. Though the performance was short, it was beautifully played, and hearing those melodies in such a unique underground setting felt almost magical.
The little boat trip across the underground lake after the concert was also short but quite nice. Just a tip: try to snag a spot in the front row for the concert, otherwise you might have to wait a long time for your turn on the boats. Overall, it was a five-star experience for us and we would absolutely recommend it. The staff were friendly as well. Just keep in mind that kids or teenagers might find the concert and the waiting times a bit boring, but for us it was well worth it!"

"The cave itself is very beautiful and worth visiting, but unfortunately the management leaves much to be desired. Too many people are admitted per group, so what should be a calm and quiet walk ends up feeling rushed, with guards constantly hurrying visitors along. The concert inside is impressive, but once again the atmosphere is spoiled by guards loudly warning people not to take photos. There are also many restrictions, yet surprisingly they allow visitors to throw coins into the water, which pollutes the seabed and negatively impacts the cave’s ecosystem."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A wonderful restaurant with a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great attention to detail. You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients, and everything was served at just the right temperature. The service was another highlight: friendly, attentive, and always making sure we felt comfortable, without ever being pushy.
What also stood out to me was the ambiance – cozy and relaxed, yet stylish, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal whether you’re there for a quick bite or a longer evening. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can truly sit back, enjoy the food, and feel taken care of. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere."
