Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Cala Sardinera's stunningly clear turquoise waters and dramatic cliff scenery, calling it a tranquil, off-the-beaten-path gem. The hike down is considered worthwhile for the secluded beauty, though the pebble beach requires preparation. Some note it can get busy with anchored boats in summer.

"A small beach pebble/rocky beach with beautiful clear water where you can spot different fish and eventual octopusses. To reach keep direction Cap Prim, SL-CV98, then Cala Sardinera."

Oleksii Bidiuk

"Beautiful beach with crystal clear water accessible via Creu del Portitxol. It takes about half an hour hike down to reach it and you need good shoes for it. It’s connected with another path that takes you to Cap de San Marti, basically in the same area. Beautiful view over Javea and incredible scenery all around, quite breathtaking with the high cliffs and turquoise water. Check my review for Cap de San Marti for pictures of the whole area - which is part of the Route of the Miradors (Miradors de Xabia). Worth mentioning is that it’s not a sandy beach, there are pebbles but you can still find comfortable places to sunbathe on the occasional sand patches. Take water and snacks and everything you need with you, you will not want to leave. Free parking available nearby.."

Andreea Brown

"Beautiful scenery with great views of Jávea and the Mediterranean. A fantastic walk to the headland surrounded by pine, wild rosemary and thyme. Watch out for the drops though, it's a long way down to the sea"
